# About Aggregator

Hera Aggregator is a protocol that aims to provide the best swap return by scanning multiple liquidity provider markets. It uses trade splitting and multi-hop features to find the best route.

Sometimes it interacts directly with a single AMM to find the best route. Depending on need, it operates on multiple AMMs. It creates new paths by dividing it according to the input amount. Each road creates the best route independently of each other, therefore, the maximum output amount is made. In other words, both maximum income is obtained and a balance is created in the pools.

![](/files/AnwBzsw9mTukVBL7tSex)

Hera has an artificial intelligence powered off-chain calculation program that creates routes. The AI makes 750,000+ calculation attempts on each query. It finds all liquidity pools and creates routes without over draft scenarios.

It compiles all routes and approves them in a single transaction safely and efficiently.

### multi-hop routes. <img src="/files/E29v7p6TgQZKHMpbGfQk" alt="" data-size="line">

Hera connects all DEX markets and AMM pools no matter the provider and finds all direct and 2-hop to 5-hop routes between any two tokens on integrated networks. There can be up to 5 tokens included in a transaction path. Therefore, it supports a maximum of 5-hops currently.

Not only does Hera Aggregator compare the prices between markets on different DEXes it also can discover best priced routes through indirect markets. Instead of traditional methods, Hera may find the best price by routing through an intermediary token, e.g. "X>Z>Q>Y" instead of "X>Y". This method may be applied due to price inefficiencies and/or volatility in the various markets that Hera Aggregator routes through.

Here are some key features for how Hera Aggregator discovers the best priced trades.

### trade splitting. <img src="/files/IuAfqLVwZBZexiwAqR2S" alt="" data-size="line">

Hera Aggregator will split your trade into smaller trade sizes. For example, if you want to make a 100 USDC-ETH trade, it may distribute your trade into a 30 USDC-ETH trade on AMM1 and a 70 USDC-ETH trade on AMM2.

The percent distribution of a trade is dynamically determined to give you the best price. Trade splitting helps get better prices for large size trades and trades with tokens where there is shallow liquidity spread out across a number of DEXes.

### other key features of Hera <img src="/files/qbwr6OFlKzuoSaFAfIaY" alt="" data-size="line">

**Automatically lists new tokens**

The number of new tokens being added is increasing at an ever faster pace. This means you can be assured that you'll be able to trade new tokens as they launch on integrated networks.

**Lists new markets rapidly**

The number of markets and liquidity pools that are launching is also increasing. So, Hera instantly picks up any market or pool for any of the DEXes it currently aggregates. This ensures that Hera always has the latest liquidity for any token that is listed as soon as it is available.

**Swap in a single transaction**

Hera has worked to optimize its swap aggregation so that it all fits with the transaction limits so that swapping can be done in one transaction. This is important to handle cases where the price for the token you are buying has changed and no longer fits your slippage limit. If Hera Aggregator cannot make the trade with your slippage limit, it rollsback the transaction and return an error.

# AI Powered Pathfinder

### Find the best route with | AI-Powered Pathfinder

Hera Aggregator is built on a unique architecture with a pathfinder algorithm. Our unique algorithm's structure can be developed, re-programmed, and has self-learning capabilities.

![](/files/Zs5uhBhP3dvzNKmj184O)

### **Features**

#### Homogeneous Liquidity

Integrating with dozens of different market models, the pathfinder ensures nearly 99.99% convergence on accessible liquidity sources, creating flawless routing for execution. By homogenizing liquidity, our AI core provides a seamless trading experience, ensuring optimal rates for every transaction.

#### Dynamic Routing

For the best swap execution, our pathfinder can connect directly to a single liquidity asset or integrate dozens of sources into a single route. With multihop capabilities, it can insert additional token routes between tokens, breaking down the route for greater output. It also presents you with real-time on-chain arbitrage opportunities within the route, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability.

#### Hera Data Repository

The Core-AI's offchain modules fetch the necessary onchain data simultaneously with chain data. Integrated market makers, liquidity models, liquidity pools, tokens, and chain data are all served on a large database, encompassing both dynamic and static data. This comprehensive database ensures that our system remains up-to-date and highly efficient, providing seamless integration across multiple blockchain networks.

#### Distributed Processing Module

Utilizes the Distributed Processing Module for robust and scalable deployment and management of applications. This ensures our platform remains stable and responsive even under high demand.

***

### **Pathfinder Structure:**&#x20;

#### 01. Max Output Equation

A mathematical equation is created to get the maximum output from the integrated liquidity providers. The result of this equation gives the best received amount.

It creates an equation in accordance with the pathfinder route finding structure by controlling all liquidity pools. This equation is not fixed, it changes itself according to the terms and conditions. Therefore, it uses many data types as input.

#### 02. HCA Data Processing

All required data is instantly accessed and converted to High Conversion Argument (HCA). This converted data is sent to the max output equation.

The data needed to solve the equation are provided. It is then finalized using the HCA module powered by artificial intelligence. It is then forwarded to the next step to find the max output figure.

#### 03. Find All Paths

It searches and finds all possible routes between two tokens and filters out unnecessary routes by filtering within certain criteria.

Pathfinder, which is prepared to take a maximum of 5 tokens between the input token and the output token, performs a filtering to reduce the almost infinite number of outputs. It eliminates very low liquidity pools, identifies tokens that can be matched between them, and prepares them to offer a multiple path.

#### 04. Hera Pathfinder: Assemble&#x20;

All obtained data and formulas are sent to AI powered pathfinder algorithm.

All data is assembled at this stage. After many calculations and formula analysis, it brings together the scattered data and creates the data needed to confirm the swap transaction.

# Interoperability

### Connecting offchain power with onchain trustless.

> ```html
> unified execution, unlimited possibilities
> ```

Combining onchain trustless architecture with offchain computational power, Hera lays the foundation for the envisioned interoperability model. Hera core-pathfinder combines the power of CPU and GPU to process data offchain and send it onchain for execution.

![](/files/tCIT0i5Yc85CX4M1w4Mh)

The core protocol, consisting of a total of 12 different nodes, encompasses multiple languages and processing types. Different servers are deployed for computational tasks and AI management and training processes.

#### Execution and Sustainability

Today's blockchain technologies are not capable of handling complex transaction models alone and thus rely on the support of centralized protocols. Hera's core-pathfinder model and AI modules are run off-chain.

One of the ultimate goals is to package Hera's core pathfinder model so that it can be deployed by anyone in the future, contributing to its processing power. This way, the community can directly support or benefit from this technology.

# Interchain

### One Route, All Liquidity

Hera's interchain technology enables access to all onchain liquidity through a single route. This is not just a need of today but a necessity for the future, and Hera's research team has been preparing for this extensively.

> Maximize your DeFi potential with Hera's innovative interchain solutions.

![](/files/L9vW6MGnmnTijEMJ1dKL)

As numerous new Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions emerge, liquidity is distributed across different chains. This has caused significant issues in swap performance. The solution lies in running cross-chain communication protocols and core-pathfinder modules together.

The primary goal of interchain technology is to aggregate liquidity from multiple chains into a single route. This requires well-designed cross-chain communication and asset transfer protocols, an area where Hera's R\&D team has been diligently preparing.

***

#### Universal Liquidity

Hera provides access to Ethereum, major Layer 1 chains, and many Layer 2 chains. It aggregates offers from market makers across these chains and compiles them for the best swap execution. This is the most comprehensive definition of liquidity access in the DeFi space.

#### Advanced Routing

Imagine a single route incorporating multiple chains and multiple AMMs. Now, elevate this concept where the route completes on the execution chain, utilizing liquidity from a Layer 1 and returning to the Layer 2 execution layer. The routing structure is fully user-controlled, allowing flexibility and optimization.

#### Communication Protocols

The cornerstone of the interchain model is efficient data transmission across chains. Technologies such as LayerZero, Wormhole, Chainlink, and Axelar are combined in a cumulative approach to achieve seamless cross-chain communication.

#### Asset Transfers

Achieving access to all liquidity through a single route requires robust cross-chain asset transfer protocols. Hera addresses this through two approaches: utilizing existing bridge protocols and designing a proprietary interchain assets bridge protocol, aiming for the maximum accessible bridge assets.

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="Operational Architecture" %}
Hera Interchain is the primary goal following the V3 deployment. Once V3 is deployed across key chains, the interchain process will commence, enabling the core-pathfinder modules deployed on different chains to communicate via bridges and communication protocols.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Compatibility Sustainability" %}
A few years ago, the concept of cross-chain interoperability was hardly discussed. Today, we see tokens on multiple chains, symbolizing an inevitable convergence. The Hera team is committed to building a central swap protocol for DeFi, ensuring compatibility and sustainability across various blockchain networks.
{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

# Utility Token

Hera Token is the governance token of Hera ecosystem. Asides from voting, the token is used in many other areas in the ecosystem.

Hera Token lies at the core of the Hera ecosystem and directly impacts the entire protocol economy in a positive way. It's quite simple: The protocol generates revenue and shares it with its stakeholders like a next-generation dividend.

### Utility Areas

#### 01. Buy-Back Progress

In certain periods Hera tokens are purchased from the market at the rate determined by the platform's revenue and VaultManager's recommendations. This is used to add liquidity on AMMs and exchanges, transfer to the market-maker wallet, or sent to Staking Portal as a reward to participants.

#### 02. Stake and Earn

More Hera Tokens can be earned by staking. Rewards are funded by protocol revenue. Therefore, APY rates are variable.

{% embed url="<https://portal.hera.finance>" %}

#### 03. Swap Fee Reduce (soon)

Aggregator platform charges a fee for swap transactions. The current rate is 0.3% from input token. For people who stake Hera Token, swap fee rate decreases gradually according to the stake amount and HeraPower.

#### 04. Hera DAO & Governance (soon)

Proposals will be submitted to the community to make decisions concerning the platform. Hera Token holders have voting rights. Studies on a fair management structure continue.

# Swap Fee Distribution

Protocol's revenues from swap transactions are transferred to the Hera Treasury. AI-powered **VaultManager** handles the distribution of these revenues.

## Distribution Planning

### 30% - Ecosystem Funding

Hera's treasury project helps to develop and maintain revenue collection. It is designed to cover many facets of Hera's ecosystem.

Hera Protocol must be an absolute treasure for its survival, and this treasure must be strengthened as much as possible. In this regard, 30% of the income from the protocol earnings is transferred to the treasury to cover possible expenses and expand the Hera project.

### 20% - Marketing & Development

The expenses required for the healthy operation of the aggregator and auxiliary applications are covered. It also provides the necessary funds for marketing activities.

Hera project provides off-chain services both on the blockchain and on off-chain servers. There is a significant expense in terms of data center and processing capacity. A 20% share is taken from this distribution in order to cover the expenses and introduce it to more people.

### Buy-Back and Liquidity Provide

**(Rate: 0-50% | Decision Maker: AI Powered VaultManager)**

According to the report recommendations presented by VaultManager, Hera tokens may be subject to buybacks from the market. Bought tokens can be held in the treasury, added to liquidity or transferred to the Staking Portal.

We have programmed a unique artificial intelligence module to reduce the initiative of the team and turn their decisions into a positive direction. By making a detailed analysis about Hera Token, it reports how much buyback should be made to the team and how much it should add to the liquidity. It also instantly examines treasury resources for liquidity. These reports are presented off-chain, buyback and liquidity addition transactions are done on-chain with the VaultManager contract.

Transactions are public on the contract.

### Rewards Pool Funding

**(Rate: 0-50% | Decision Maker: AI Powered VaultManager)**

Funds are provided for staking portal rewards and rewards for app usage. It only trades for certain periods so that the pool can pay out sustainably. These transactions also include buy-back.

According to the VaultManager decision, a determined number of tokens are sent to the Staking Portal to be distributed to users. Protocol revenues and distribution are directly proportional. For this reason, the APR rates of staking and farming pools vary periodically.

### Periods of Distribution

**(Decision Maker: AI Powered VaultManager)**

Just like the distribution percentages, the artificial intelligence algorithm decides when the distribution will be made. Performs market analysis, checks token price and liquidities, monitors volumes and examines funds in the treasury; After all this, it sends a report to the team to take action.

#### Updates about v3 beta release and upcomings

Hera V3 core has its own internal LM, and during beta it’s going through heavy training. On top of that, the API side is now plugged into an AI managed layer running on AWS. The heavy math load is handled by Graviton4 machines, one of the big upsides of building the whole thing from scratch in rust, while the AI-agent layer has been reworked around Kubernetes.

At this stage, we’ll be collecting reports for both load optimization and scaling. We’ll also be locking in the stability and error profile of multi worker task sharing and parallel compute modules as training continues.

We’re still not connected to every single onchain liquidity source yet. We integrated them, but routing is not fully where we want it to be. That part will be improved step by step, so you’ll be able to watch routes get better day by day.

At the same time, we’ll also be working through new propAMMs and new liquidity providers. All accessible liquidity will be pulled into what we call a homogenized pool, which we believe is a pretty revolutionary approach. The goal is not just to show the best quote. The goal is to actually deliver the best quote.

And throughout beta, our full focus will be on finding the cleanest possible balance on execution.

Also, before we forget, we want to give a special shoutout to both the Helius and Jupiter guys. We got a genuinely warm welcome here and real support from both sides.

Last but not least, huge thanks to the community for the insane patience. We really hope we earn the right to deliver a product that lives up to expectations by the end of this process, because you guys kept supporting us all the way through.

Please don’t hesitate to send us every flaw you spot or every feature you want to see, because this is exactly what beta is for. If you run into bugs, don’t get tilted, just let us know so we can fix them and make this thing better.

We’ll keep everyone updated and fully in the loop throughout the beta.

# Trade Mining

AI Driven Trade Mining

Hera is the first to develop a new abstraction layer of economic incentive for its end users. This is made possible by superior rates sourced from the combination of chainfinder data retrieval fed into the [AI Pathfinder](/features/ai-powered-pathfinder) as a data source. Such technology has enabled the collection of a sub fractional fee structure which is distributed to its ecosystem and participants.

Unlike proof of work, this new age mining model can be facilitated on gas optimized Layer2s as well as Layer1s. As each trade is processed by the composability of this defi front end, which scours all major liquidity networks on all major chains, funds are collected and forwarded to the home treasury on Metis chain. The staking portal’s APY is reflexive based on a couple factors.

APY and trade mining difficulty influences:

* Staking Participation
* Revenue Generated

In the case of diminished APY, it is important to realize that Hera is a scarce asset and that its inflation rates can drop lower than some major proof of work tokens. Trade mining difficulty over time will increase as the available Hera that is tradeable on the open market reduces.

This concept is analogous to the possibility of mining on lesser hardware in days past.

# Staking Portal

Hera Finance has an A.I. assisted VaultManager that controls protocol revenue collected from all supported chains. Proceeds from swap transactions are used to develop and manage Hera's ecosystem. At the same time, a portion of all revenue can be transferred by the VaultManager based on recommendations from artificial intelligence to Hera Token ($HERA) holders through various methods.

Token buybacks are made possible with protocol revenue earned through exchange fees. Purchased tokens can then be burnt or added to the staking pool as a reward so that the holders can earn real yield.

Staking is a utility that allows Hera token holders to share in socialized protocol revenue.

Functionality Explained:

* **Claim:** Collects earned yield and sends it to your wallet
* **Compound:** Collects earned yield and adds it to your staked base principal.
* **Auto Compound:** Coming soon...
* **Staking Period:** The set time window rewards are obtainable. Date extensions are made regularly
* **HeraPower:** (Under Development): Participants will receive swap fee reductions based on their level of interaction and commitment to the ecosystem. This feature is exclusive to Metis Layer2.

# Omnichain Staking

Introducing the omni-chain Hera Staking Portal!&#x20;

The $HERA staking model has now completely transformed and can be used independently across networks. With Hera Token's OFT upgrade, its dependency on specific chains has been reduced, creating a model that can expand to all networks. If Hera Token is deployed to a new chain, staking will be available shortly.

The new staking model is building on LayerZero, and the interchain messenger protocol is working seamlessly. Like OFT contracts, the staking protocol is distributed and managed from the Metis chain.

Function definitions and details:

* **Stake:** You can stake your Hera Tokens on one of the active chains.
* **Unstake:** You can withdraw your assets from the staking pool.
* **Claim:** Use the claim function to transfer your staking rewards to your wallet.
* **Compound:** It's a quick solution to claim and restake your staking rewards.
* Some more features coming soon ...

**Notice:**&#x20;

Metis is defined as the main chain for staking pools. So, if you stake Hera Tokens on other networks, the tokens will be moved to the Metis network after communicating with proxy and bridge contracts. During this process, gas/tx fees and transaction times may vary due to the involvement of bridge contracts. The same considerations apply to unstaking, claiming, and compounding. Therefore, if you want to save time and fees, you can continue to use the staking portal on Metis.

You will use the existing token for staking on Metis, while for new networks introduced with the OFT expansion, tokens with ownership of the OFT token contract will be valid.

# Token Overview

Hera Token is the governance and utility token of Hera Finance.

We believe in a more active Hera Token usage model. We have done so by creating usage areas within our entire ecosystem. Being a decision maker in the management of the project and sharing protocol revenues is the beginning. This is only one of the first stages for token usage areas.

# Hera OFT Token

The Hera OFT Token is a token model that is built and deployed on LayerZero. It is linked to the token on Metis and can be deployed to other chains as desired. The existing token contract will be valid on the Metis chain, and the newly deployed tokens alongside will utilize the OFT contract. This process confirms that the token contract on Metis will not change.

In the initial stage, the Hera OFT Token has been deployed to Ethereum and can be expanded to other chains supported by LayerZero.

The token information for Hera Token on Metis will remain unchanged, and the contract addresses for Hera Token deployed on all networks, including Ethereum, will be the same as the OFT contract. The management of all tokens will be done on the Metis side.

Additionally, a bridge has been launched with the Hera OFT Token to enable asset transfers between chains.

# About OFT Upgrade

This update covers three key features. First off, we'll be deploying the OFT Token. Don't worry, Metis' existing token address and liquidity won't change. However, we're introducing the Hera Token, set to deploy on Ethereum and subsequent chains, rocking a single contract address. After the Ethereum expansion, get ready for a HERA/USDC pool on Uniswap v3. All contract addresses will be revealed post-announcement; stick to the official details to avoid any confusion.

Now, let's talk about the OFT burn/mint feature. It's designed to expand an existing token, and here's the scoop. When the Hera Token hits Ethereum, the supply starts at zero and mints Hera proportional to the tokens bridged from Metis. On Metis, those tokens chill in a Proxy contract. Bridge them to Ethereum, and voila! Tokens burn on the OFT contract, Metis Proxy reimburses. It's a zero-accounting magic trick.

The bridge and inter-chain transactions vary, taking 15s to 4m, depending on each chain's quirks. We'll keep an eye on it and roll updates as needed.

Now, let's talk omnichain staking, the complex beast. No matter which chain you transact from, tokens funnel straight to the Metis chain's contract. Staking from Metis? Direct drop into the pool. Other chains? After bridging. It's an omni-staking pool, serving any future chain expansions. It operates independently across chains. We've got four main functions: stake, unstake, claim, and compound. All real-time for Metis, variable for OFT chains.

***

**Got questions?** Here are some FAQs 👇

* If your tokens are on Metis and you want to stake, no need to bridge. Start staking directly from the Portal. OFT chains are a secondary option.
* We've crafted a fresh portal for bridge and staking. Ditch the old frontend for the new portal. If you've staked in old pools, unstake there and hop on the new portal. We'll keep the old frontend alive for a bit.
* After the bridge cooldown, OFT tokens will mint to your wallet from the 0x000...00 address. No need for a secondary claim or mint action.
* Initial liquidity on Uniswap in Ethereum. Balanced liquidity shift from Metis pools—HERA and USDC—to Ethereum. Gradually optimized.
* Post-OFT upgrade, you can still enjoy Hera features on Metis without using any bridges.
* Portal functions on Ethereum may see high fees at times. For gas savings, it's smarter to use these features on Metis.
* V3 update pending, so Hera Dex Aggregator isn't available for Hera trades on Ethereum. Use Uniswap or other swap protocols for now.

Emporia got its name from Greek Mythology and means "the place where merchants traded."

EmporiaSDK is built on top of Hera Dex Aggregator and is recommended for developers or traders. Project developers can quickly incorporate Hera Aggregator into their ecosystem and start using it instantly.

Swagger API gives access to 3rd parties to find the best swap rate. This enables integrations to respond in the fastest way and streamline the process phase all the way to the point of being ready for swap. Some of the example paths are allowance, quote, and swap. ## Hera Dex Aggregator - Swap Protocol API

### Metis Mainnet Release

Using Hera Aggregation protocol API, you can find the best route to exchange assets and make the exchange.\
\
Progressing:

1. Lookup addresses of tokens you want to swap, for example ‘0xxx’ , ‘0xxxx’ for USDC -> METIS
2. Check for allowance and if necessary give approval for HeraAggregatorV2 contract to spend token (/allowance)
3. Monitor the best exchange route using (/quote)
4. When you ready use to perform swap (/swap)

{% hint style="info" %}
**EmporiaSDK is now available on Metis Mainnet.** Other chains are coming soon!
